Concentration, Focus and Distraction

So, what is concentration? The skill of remaining focused on a certain task is known as concentration. When we are highly concentrated on our task then we have a better result. For example: If I have to study 8 chapters of science today, and while reading them if I am fully concentrated towards it, then I will complete reading it efficiently and in a better manner within a short duration of time. However, if I won't read them with full concentration, and will get distracted too much such as chatting with my friend on different social media or thinking of something else while reading it, then I won't read it properly even though I will think that I have read it all.

Now let me talk about focus. So, what is the focus? Focus is the quality of being centered at any point, aim, or goal. It is the key element to effective study. If we have a focus on something, then our brain will be concentrated on that thing only, it will not think of elsewhere, and when we are concentrated on something we have full attention on that thing. Consequently, the attention makes our work efficient as we become determined to complete the task in a specific period of time.

Lastly, the last topic for today's article is a distraction. Distraction is an act of diverting our mind from one topic to the other while doing some particular kind of work. While doing any work, we should always be aware of abstaining ourselves from distraction. Those things that divert our minds from one topic to another help to lose our focus and concentration from our work. Thus, to keep ourselves focused and concentrated in a particular work we should restrain ourselves from distractions around us.

I hope you got the gist of this article! So, if we are doing any work, we should do it with full concentration, which requires focus and zero distractions. This much for now.
